How Doctors Connect collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Doctors Connect (“Doctors Connect”, “we”, “us”) helps Western-trained doctors with medical licensing, job placement and relocation in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use doctor-connect.com or our services, why we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
We handle personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we also respect your rights under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.
1. Who we are
Doctors Connect, Manazel Tower, Al Barsha 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any question about this policy or your personal data, email jobs@doctor-connect.com with “Privacy” in the subject line.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and message.
- Booking a call: your name, email address, phone number, your answers to our short eligibility questions, any message you add, the date and time you choose and your time zone.
- Live chat and WhatsApp: what you write to us and any name, email address or phone number you choose to share.
- When you become a candidate: the information you send us so we can help with licensing, job applications or relocation, such as your CV, qualifications, registration and licence details, employment history, references, passport or ID copies and family details needed for visas. We only ask for what each step needs.
- Testimonials: if you agree to share a review, your name, job title, photo and comments.
Information collected automatically
- When you submit a form, we record your IP address, browser type and the page you sent it from, to protect the website against spam and abuse.
- Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, described in section 7.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiries and to book, confirm, reschedule or cancel consultation calls, including sending you meeting links and calendar invitations.
- To provide our licensing, recruitment and relocation services, including matching you with suitable roles and preparing applications.
- To keep records of our conversations and the services we provide.
- To keep our website secure, prevent spam and fix problems.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Our legal grounds
We use your personal data because:
- you have asked us to take steps before or under an agreement with you, for example booking a call or helping with your application;
- you have given your consent, for example to share your profile with a specific employer, to accept non-essential cookies or to publish your testimonial;
- we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, where this is not outweighed by your rights; or
- the law requires us to.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did with your data before you withdrew it.
5. Who we share it with
- Employers and healthcare facilities you are being considered for. We only send your profile to an employer with your agreement.
- Licensing and government authorities, such as the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and immigration authorities, together with the credential verification providers they appoint, when you ask us to help with a licence or visa.
- Service providers that run our systems for us:
- Hostinger, for website hosting, content delivery and email;
- Google, for Google Calendar and Google Meet (scheduling and holding calls), Google Maps (our office map) and Google Fonts (website text);
- tawk.to, for the live chat on our website;
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.
- Others when required, such as professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires us to share information or where we need to protect our rights.
6. International transfers
We are based in the UAE, and some of our service providers store data outside the UAE, for example in Europe or the United States. Your information will also be sent to employers and authorities in Saudi Arabia or Qatar if you ask us to help with roles there. When we transfer data abroad, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected, for example by using providers that offer recognised data protection terms.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies, which make the website work, remember your cookie choice and keep our forms secure;
- Functional and third-party cookies, set by the live chat, Google Maps and other embedded services when they load.
When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or by clearing the cookies in your browser.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and booking records for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, so we can follow up and keep accurate records. If you become a candidate, we keep your file while we are helping you and for up to 3 years afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer. After that we delete or anonymise it.
9. How we protect it
Our website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised team members with their own logins can see enquiries and bookings, and our emails are sent through an authenticated mail server. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and act quickly if something goes wrong.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- send your data to you or another organisation in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent.
To make a request, email jobs@doctor-connect.com. We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office or, if you are in the UK or EU, to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Our services are for qualified medical professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Links to other websites
Our website may link to other websites, such as health authority portals or LinkedIn profiles. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your information.
